Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body that works to keep your body hydrated and your skin flexible. With age, the protective fat layers under the skin thin out, resulting in sagging and loss of volume. The skin also produces less collagen, which gives the skin structure and elasticity.
Restylane restores lost volume and fullness to the face, easing the appearance of deep expression lines, especially those in the “smile zone” around the mouth and lips, and plumping up the apple of the cheek.
